At The Dried Fruit Company, we take pride in offering only the finest quality dried fruits and nuts. Each product is carefully sourced, packed, and delivered to ensure freshness and satisfaction. However, we understand that there may be situations where you may need to return a product or request a refund.
This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Due to the perishable nature of dried fruits and nuts, we can only accept returns under the following circumstances:
- The product is damaged during transit.
- The package is tampered with or defective at the time of delivery.
- The product delivered is incorrect (different from what you ordered).
Note: We do not accept returns for reasons such as taste preference or change of mind.
2. Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order ID, invoice) and photographs of the damaged/incorrect product must be provided.
3. Refund Process
- Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will initiate a refund.
- Refunds will be processed to your original mode of payment within 7–10 business days.
- In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be issued via bank transfer or store credit.
4. Replacement Option
- Instead of a refund, you may also request a replacement of the same product (subject to availability).
- If the product is out of stock, we will issue a refund.
5. Non-Returnable Items
- Opened, partially used, or tampered-with packages.
- Products not stored as per instructions after delivery.
- Items returned without prior approval from our support team.
6. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing them, provided they have not already been dispatched.
- Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
